RSD rotors "Diesel Contrast cut" warped in less than 5,000 miles. At 330.00 each I think they would want to step up to the plate.
My BAD, I have the 21 / 18 wheels DCC (4,000+), matching rotors (700.+), grips (120.00 +), Speed 7 breather (420.+) and last but not least but definitely the last of RSD for me. Diesel rotors (2) @330. + each.
UMMMMMM I believe that's over 5 grand and all I get from the Tech mgr. is a line of you know what.
I can't be the only one with an issue with these folks.

Feedback anyone ??????????
I'd be pissed too if I spent that much money and they warped. On the other hand, brake usage is highly dependent on the rider so I can see why the Mgr is sticking to his guns. I'd refer back to warranty and see what it says, or doesn't say, about mileage. Bottom line, I think you're SOL. Ride safe.
I had issues with the rotors that came with my heathens.
I installed them and there was a brake lever pulse. I could feel how warped the rotors were. I went to PM with it and they told me to bring it in. I took it in and they found out both were warped. They first changed both brake pads. That didn't solve the problem. They then changed both rotors and everything is fine now. They know there is a problem with their rotors because the guy I talked to said I wasn't the only one calling about that issue and that they (PM) wanted to see the problem first hand. That's why they asked me to bring the bike in.
My advice, call PM and see what they can do. RSD and PM are located right next to each other. I've been told that the owner of RSD is the PM owners son.
You're right about RS being the son of the owner of PM.
At present the GM (of this dept.), Ms Kelly is going to "as she put it" go up the flag pole to "try" and help resolve this issue. Pray for Ms Kelly.
You know, I know and they know there's a problem with these rotors.
RSD needs to step up to the plate. Do the right thing. My suggestion after being asked what I wanted was "send" me a new set of rotors, I'll send them mind and they can analyze the rotors all they want. I'll pay shipping both ways.
I'm not going to be down a month or better waiting on them to tell me "it's my fault" (with less than 5,000 miles, geez) especially when they know there's a warpage issue with these rotors.
Thanks for your input. I've recieved alot of PM's concerning this problem.
I hope PM / RSD will step up.
