My Road King is now 10 years old and my windshield looks it. I'd like to replace the plastic with a dark, shorter version. Polycarbonate (Lexan), not acrylic and reasonably priced.
Where do you folks obtain replacements for your windshields?
Clearview with a recurve is pretty nice because it pushes the air up a few inches further and makes the shield more rigid. I have another post showing my 17" x 27" custom Clearview shield (clear color).

Hey RR was tring to checkout those pics of the shield your talking about but guess im still to much of a neewb here to access attachments. Will surf da net a bit.
Memphis shades makes a direct replacement in many sizes, and much better quality for around $80 or so. Had one on my bike and was very happy. Check vendors for good prices on the web.
Check ebay if price is a issue, people are always selling them. If your handy, go to your local plastic supply, pick your tint (be certain you get lexan.) warm it up and you can bend it easier.

I'm a newbie too. I noticed a few weeks ago that I lost my ability to access attachments when I was logged in but I could if I was on as just a guest, so you might try that. I will try to post a picture tomorrow in this thread when I am on my other PC.

I recently put a Clearview on my 02 RK and I highly recommend them. I actually bought a blem (still can't find the blem on it though) that saved a little money but full price is worth it too. It is stronger than standard and is rock solid with no shaking. Get the recurve, and they have tints too.
It seems they sell a lot of 15" tinted recurves so that may be what you want to look at. I bought an 18.5" clear as I wanted more protection than the short shield that was on my bike.
