I have a fuel injected '06 Streetglide with V&H slip-ons, stage I kit and V&H Fuelpak. The bike has about 4k miles on it and has run great until today. No pops or backfire on decel, good acceleration, pipes didn't turn color, etc.
Today coming back from a ride my bike just died at at stop light, then a few minutes later started lunging and backfiring on acceleration and decel. It continued this every couple of minutes the entire last 15 miles of the ride. I got it home OK, but I'm thinking something has gone wrong in the fuel system, most likely the Fuelpak.
I'm asking the collective wisdom of the forum if anyone has had a similar experience and if so, what was it? Or, does it sound like it could be something else?
Is the check engine light comeing on then goes out?I had the same problem with mine.V&h will send you a new one after you tried one of there quick fixes that didn't help.I since switched to a PCIII!
