New issue with Road Glide radio bracket
Flawed design for sure. I am sure the MoCo has known about this for a while. I guess they figure not enough people take their outer fairing off to be able to see this. Techs may see it but turn a blind eye. Damn shame as much as we pay for these machines that we have to deal with chit like this. This is as bad if not worse that the cheap fairing brackets they use on the batwings that keep on breaking. The finally after all these years made a change to those.

Plastic fairing
Fiberglass? Where did you find one made out of that? Mine is cheap friggin plastic worse quality than the Japs use. I just ground a moon shaped area out of the bracket where it rubs the fairing on my 2010 Road Glide custom with 106 miles. Piece of sht plastic fairing with real piece of sht screws into plastic threads. I don't even want to think about the quality of this friggin fairing,gets me very aggravated.
