Odometer reading Off.
I have a little problem,
I have a 1999 road king classic. I bought it used in 2002. We had planned to take a cross country trip from Massachusetts to Oregon by way of the Grand Canyon and Southern California in May. The day before we left my speedometer stopped working (also the turn signal cancel feature, which is normal with this type of failure) with 50,501 miles. Since I didn't have time to dig into the problem, pulled the sensor and checked and cleaned it with no help, I picked up an APP for my iPhone called Travelreporter. It used the GPS feature to track you mileage and stops. With this App I logged 8,224 miles on the trip.
I still haven't fixed the problem so my total extra mileage, as of this morning, is 8,964. Was hoping there is a way I could fixed the speedometer and have this extra mileage added to my odometer. Any ideas or comments will be welcomed.
