Does anyone know if this assembly will work on the 2010 headlight assembly. I know the 10's have the cvo cover so thats why Im asking. Ive never seen behind that cvo cover , dont know if its the same behind it.
If you are talking about the older one it isn't available anymore. It has been discontinued and no longer available anywhere. I had a line on the last one that was available in the US but the dealer lost it in their inventory.
The newer version isn't really good for use in the US as it is meant for left side driving.
I am still wondering if it will work. So basically what I am wondering is if you remove that cvo cover is the headlamp assembly the same as all the other years ??
Actually the 2010 is a little different. It is redesigned to allow bulb changing from the front. Dunno if you would be able to retrofit the new mounts in the old housing or not.
check with susquehannah lighting. they carry the e-code headlights. they claim 400% more light on low beam, and much improved also with the high beam. it's done by focussing the light actually down your lane rather than in the oncoming traffic lane, and so spread out as us spec headlights. far superior to even the high dollar hid stuff. if you've seen kuryakyn's version, that damm thing looks like a tin oil funnel. check out susquehanna lighting. for about 40 bucks a pop, it's far superior to anything else you'll find. the e code is geared for right side drive like we have here in the us, germany and some others. aussies and the limeys got it *** backwards=left side drive.
