Same here, but I use the lean setting probably 99% of the time. I also can't tell the difference in WOT performance since I have progressed the enriching from 20-60% TP, with 80% and above unchanged from the original Fuel Moto settings. This area is optimized for performance, so I can have my cake and eat it too, more or less. I also notice little or no difference in throttle response with the leaner AFR's in the cruise range, so to me there is no downside except heat, and that's the beauty of the map-switch feature, being able to switch to a richer state on the fly.

question - i finally got my scoot out yesterday from a long winter sleep... my buddies saying when riding behind me, they would smell gas from my tailpipe when running the cooling map vs the MPG map when i would toggle the switch position for the PCV.. is this normal ? i do understand the cooling map adds more fuel to keep bike cooler.. i dont have any popping on de-acceleration or downshifting so i presume map is right on from FM.. only get backfiring if engine is cold and i throttle almost full and then backoff... revs about 5Krpm.. but when bike is warm - no more backfiring. .
i also dont feel any differance from the 2 maps...
ill calm down after few rides - lol.. record warm weather and first day on scoot, just couldnt resist ...
