Default PC-V Milage Map?

I bought a PC-V from FM last year with a map preloaded. I'm interested in a "milage" map so I can increase my MPG on trips.

Couldn't I just use a "zero" map? Or do I need to provide some increased AFR than 14.6?

Edit: Have installed the map switch and use a zero map right now for milage. There has to be something more useful, so I have contacted Kieth at FM for a milage map.

Thanks...

I think that's a conversation with Fuel Moto to see what can be done to the Power Commander* settings

As we get to touring season a few riders are realizing that 32 MPG isn't conducive to seeing America.

( unless you tour with a bunch of Sporty riders, they need to stop every 110 miles)

Another thread is covering suggestions such as checking for free wheeling bearings, tire pressure and all that.

speed ( wind resistance) vs MPG etc.

* well, they don't call it the "mileage commander"

Default milage map

you need to install a switch.just a plain on/ off toggle you can get at radio shack wires there too.i hoggged out the hole in the batterry/ ecm wall behind the back cylinder there are 2, left and right side.ran wires to PCV. now get fuel moto to email you a milage map.install it in the #2 position.switch in off #1 map switch on #2 map.now you have 2 maps and can switch on the fly. my toggle has a little plate saying on/ off so i can tell without checking continuity, if i for get whats on and off position.as far as milage 11 flhx103 i get say 40 on #1 and #2 ive gotten 47.but i tend to leave it on 1.hope this helps

Do you have a copy of the map currently on your PCV? You can call Jamie and he will fix you up with another map for fuel economy. The best way is to put a switch on your bike. That way you can switch between the two maps. One for good fuel economy and one for cooling.

You can also just ask Fuelmoto for a mileage map. Install it and be done with it.
My experience is that it will still be fine in slow traffic and hot days.

If you will install a hard switch, then here is a good switch diagram that I've used.
