Question Need Headlight Bulb Crossover Help Please

My son called me tonight and asked about a headlight bulb replacement for his 2006 Night Train, I looked it up on the Harley website and the part # is 68297-05 and lists for $89.95 He's between jobs and that's a bit much for him to fork over at the moment. This is a 5 3/4" hi-low beam bulb, but for the life of me I couldn't Goodle a cheaper replacement or find an answer searching on this forum. Does anyone have a cheaper solution I can tell him about? Appreciate your help!

You don't have o replace the whole headlight. The bulb itself can be replaced. They go from $10 to $40 depending on what you want and can be picked up at any auto parts store. It's an H3 bulb try a Sylvania silver star for about $25

It's an H4 motorcycle which is a 9003 auto bulb. I did the $45 PIAA thing until I discovered Sylvania Ultra"s 9003 on ebay for $40 a pair delivered - and they last over
a year, more like two years. PIAA - one year max. IMHO
