Question about starter
On occation when I hit the starter button it sounds like the starter is draging for a split second and then turn over real fast. This happens when the bike is hot or cold. This is a 05 eg with 5500 miles on it. All imput greatly appreciated. Thanks. Bob.

Check your ground lead (or the hot wire for that matter) to the starter.
I had the same thing and thought is was the battery. Turned out the ground
lead was loose.
