Good points and I am glad you all said that about the 110...I'd heard that there had been issues with that particular engine but had kind of forgot about it. I think the 103s would be the way to go for sure. I am attempting to contact an overseas dealer to see if I could still qualify for the deployed cost of a Limited. If I can I think I'll go that way...otherwise I am really tempted to jump on this one that the dealership has in stock right now (scarlet/black). I am also waiting to see how this bike I found in IL turns out...here is the link to the RK is saw on ebay....its http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...WAX:IT...check it out...I'd love your alls thoughts. I think I will still go test ride the Limited tomorrow so once I come back from that I'll be sure to let you all know my impressions. Lastly...thank you to all for your kind words and appreciation for my service...there are a lot of great young American's serving around the world tonight. If you bump into one of these young warriors be sure to express your appreciation...even pickup their meal sometime...it will make you feel great.
I ride 48 miles each way to work in Tampa at Macdill. I have a '09 Ultra.... love it.
Comforable for the 1.25 hour commute. Plus ballsie enough for the interstates.. especially after some custom work.
Plus.. great for getting the Mrs on the back and heading out for a ride for a long weekend and what not.
And the storage is great. Set of cammies in one saddlebag, hanging clothes in the trunk.. whatever. Room for everything a hard charging devil dog needs for day to day life in the our beloved Corps.
