I am eagerly awaiting delivery of my Limited having upgraded from an 08 Ultra. My question is about headsets.
To facilitate wiring in my helmet and to make a neat job I cut the speaker wires, fed them through a small slit in the helmet and resoldered the wires. I know many people here don't like the headset speakers but I don't have a big problem with them (sure we all want better, but...)
So, have the headsets changed at all from the 08 to 10 models? If not then I will keep the old headsets and hand the new ones back with my bike. If they are better then I will pull the old set out and do the job again
sgdiesel, The dealer threw in one headset with my new 2010 Limited, I bought a second one. Wife and I are very happy with the VOX intercom and the music with the headsets. I don't think you'll be expected to turn in a headset when you trade in your '08. I'd try to keep the old '08 ones and use them and try to keep the new one for a spare.
