If I change my 2007 stock front rotors to true floating rotors, will my brakes quite squeeling? I've checked and the stock ones are installed correctly. They have squeeled since day one. I don't want to spend the money on floating rotors if it won't cure the problem. I will also replace the pads if I replace the rotors.

Try reversing the rotors, put the left on the right and right on the left. It was an HD service bulletin a while back and it works.
I just posted an update to a similar post for my '05 Road King. After doing some research on this and other forums, I had the dealer swap the left and right front rotors. Now, it only squeals when stopping in reverse. So, for $100, my brake squeal problem went away. As I understand it, that was a warranty repair for our touring bikes if requested.
Check the rotor PN#'s. If the left side is stamped 44156-00 LEFT, then put it on the right. If the right side is stamped 44136-00 RIGHT, then put it on the left. If the numbers are reversed then you already have them swapped. Or you could look at the slots and see where the rounder bulb shape is.
Take a good look at the pads. If they look glazed you may want to sand or swap them out. In a rescent post, the last few days, another member with the squeel changed out to floating rotors. This did not correct the problem.
I ride an 07 RKC and I am not familiar with the later year braking system. I have OEM pads and they are soft. I have to wipe down the rotors after a bath with simple green. The dealer remounted my front wheel at an angle after a tire swap and the rotors a brakes got hot enough to fry an egg. They still did not squeel. Rode thirty miles and could not push the bike into the grarge, but no squeel.
