I've heard of several corrections. I replaced the front rotors with floating rotors and the problem is gone. I've heard some have swapped the rotors and that took care of the problem for a while. (move the left to the right and right to the left) I've heard that HD will spray some foam stuff into the air spaces where the rotor attaches and that can work. (not sure how this actually worked out)

If you take it back to your stealer they will fix it for you - they SHOULDN'T charge you anything.
The easiest fix it to flip the rotors (right side - left, left - right) The problem, they say, is the rotors are not in alignment. You should be able to pass a pencil through the hole of one rotor into a hole on the opposite side.
Better option would be to go to floating rotors. All depends on if you want to spend some $ or a free fix.
I have to get mine done too. It's a well known problem with the SG's
(Not sure if you know but there is also a bulletin for your steering lock as well as the injectors)

Heres a quick low cost thing to try,I've seen it work on some bikes.....including my own........Take the pins/bolts out of the calipers and clean and regrease them. If they are binding there will be uneven pressure on your pads. Your pads hitting thr rotor at a uneven angle will allow for a vibration, and that's the sqeal your hearing. It' so easy to try......Why not give it a shot?..................Good Luck

Harley rotated my rotors free, that stopped the squeel on my 06' RK custom. Unless you want to spend money, as if your bike wasnt enough, just go for the free rotation.

same here. the dealer rotated them free of charge and now no squeal. this was a good dealer though. the place i bought the machine at said the noise was normal and put moly grease on the rotors. gees! smart, eh?

Ok Harley always making me work . Thanks for the suggestiions grease the pins change the rotors ... Fun on a Harley Well at least it all most winter will try ....
