04 roadking custom vibration shakes the bars, seat, mirrows, etc. Can feel it when touching the frame, tank, rear fender. Not unrideable, but no where near the smoothness of my buddies bike's.
Had a shop put scope on lower in and you can hear a slight knock at idle.
They are sure the bottom end needs replacing at the tune of about $3000.
Has 12,000 miles.
Does this sound like a crank/flywheel issue or what.
Need help in deciding what to do.
This is the second harley I have had issues with and my son in law has an issue with his 03 roadglide.Very discouraging.
Thanks
Jim
12000 seems low for a crank issue, but not impossible of course. Check your mounts.
Has there been motor work before? How hard do you run it? Has maintenance been kept up to date? I am assuming you bought it used. Just a few variables to help justify the crank. good luck and I hope it's only a mount.
