Check Engin light

Has any one ever had this problem? My check engin light started coming on in the afternoon only . Not constant but at higher reves like pushing down a back road , keeping the tach around 3-4 grand. If you back off it goes back out.On a morning ride when the air temp is cool you can wring it's neck and it won't come on. Could this be a bad O2 censor having trouble with the heavy afternoon air?

You need to check to see what code it is tripping. The procedure is in the service manual. Not hard to do.

have you properly checked your oil level? condition of battery charge and connections? it's usually the stupid stuff that we take for granted, so check that stuff first.
