cleaning new paint on inner fairing

I installed the inner fairing (new fresh paint) on my sons street glide.I got finger prints and some ,smudges on it. I wiped it with clear water and a soft cloth, but there still there. How do I get them off, I know wax is not to be used.

They should have just wiped off unless the paint wasnt dry enufff? try a little polishing compound .

Might want to call the painter so you dont regret what you do.

You handled it too soon. The paint was not set up and fully flashed off before you handled it. You may not be able to do anything but maybe LIGHTLY touch it over with super light compound and take it out depending on how deep they are. FOR SURE speak to and show your painter and see what he recommends BEFORE doing ANYTHING to it!!!!!! My brother does custom paint work on autos and he did my inner, ignition cover, and matching trailer last winter for me. It pays to consult with them for that what they do best.
