I'm sure this type of question has been asked but , for those of you that use a Klock Werks Flare windshield do you notice less turbulence up your chest due to the hip design of the shield. I'm not wanting to buy
all the other do-dads that's suppose to help if I can help it.
You must be one of the lucky one's , where the aerodynamics
work for you. I've tried a number of windshields and never
found one that would keep the air from coming by the tank
and up my chest. What I'm trying to find out is if the hips on
the KW flare reduces this. So if I get a 10" Fast Aire I'll get none?
If you get no turbulence you might not comprehend what I
mean.
if you're looking to reduce or eliminate the air that comes in between the forks and the gas tank then the windshield isn't going to cure that. there is a fork air baffle which helps a lot with that, along with the fairing wings that go on either side of the fairing, and they're adjustable so you can direct the air flow. i found that the air baffle, for me, is a huge improvement, and they used to come on harley touring bikes, until in 09 they stopped putting them on roadglides for some reason.
