High beams at all times unless I *don't* need them or I'll be a danger to others (night, in traffic).

Not nearly as many people try to turn left in front of me with the high-beams on.

The greater your visibility the better - you might not know when it saves you but you sure will when it didn't !!!

thats great logic. they can't see you anyway, so why even try to make yourself a little more visible? might as well take all the lights and reflectors off....

when i took the msf course, they recommended using high beams during the day for extra visibility. have been doing it since. though, with the new road glide, been running low beams only. except at night, with no one else around. them two lights will light up the road!

Low beam and amber lights in the driving lights all the time. The ambers seem to attract more attention to the eye.

High beams and Hella FF50's during the day. Low beams and FF50's at night with oncoming traffic. I have my driving lights on their own switch so that I can use them with either Hi or Lo beam or not at all, or by themselves if for some reason both my headlights should go out.
I have 2 of these in my headlight sockets:

The Hellas are 55 watts each.

I don't run the high beam or running lights during the day. Stuipd **** caggers can't see a 900lbs bike with a 235lbs person ....you really think having a brighter light is going to change that? I do use both running lights and high beam at night though...I want to be able to spot that deer on the side of the rode waiting to knock me off
