Default EFI Tuning???

I got some gas at murphy usa yesterday(normally use BP) and today I noticed my bike wasn't quite as snappy as it was... I checked around the forum and saw where some people were talking about the 10% ethanol causing problems. Anyway a buddy of mine with an 01 said that on his RK he can cut the bike off and switch it to acc. and after three minutes or so his computer will automatically adjust the air to fuel ratio or somethin with the EFI. Is there any truth in this?.... Bike didn't come with even an owners manual (workin on gettin all of em) so it may be a stupid question but felt like yall could offer some insight.

No this is not true, there is no "switch" to change the ECU A/F ratio and override the function of the EFI. The computer does this automatically it can make these adjustments within reason. You cant put anything in there and expect the bike to run, you can however run as much as 20% ethanol and the bike can run on this ok i would not suggest this tho, it will burn a lot more fuel and you will notice a lack of power.
