I know this post is a year old but I have a question about removing the outer protective lens over my roadie's headlights. I have a 07 Roadie and the headlights have two bar & shield emblems in front of the headlight and behind the lens. Six months old and 2,600 miles and the glue has give out. So both my emblems are sliding around behind the lens. So here's the question, are the instructions here for removing the outer lens cover? You just carefully remove the cover from the front of the bike without removing anything else? It sounds easy if it is. Also has anyone else had this issue or am I just lucky?

A buddy of mine with an 07 RG has the same problems with the emblems. They must use the same weak glue that they put on the weatherstrip between the inner and outer fairings. [:@]
