Just received my 2 qts of Red Line Trans Oil from Summit Racing. Installed it in my 2010 Ultra Limited. Took a short 30 mile ride and I can't see any difference. I still have the clunking in first gear and it doesn't shift any better. I would not waste my money on it again.
Had the same feeling when I put it in my 08 RK, initially. Over time it did get better. I believe there will always be somewhat of a "clunk" when putting it in first gear, but your shifts will become smoother and quieter.
In fact, I just had Redline gear oil put into my nephew's Scion xB that he races with.

Give it 5K miles and see how you like it. I could tell a difference right away because It was a heavier oil than I was using. after running it now over 500 miles, I can tell a big difference. Shift's smoother and the tranny is quieter. I'm sold on it. I still have the clunk, but not as loud and sharp sounding.
Just get one of these and see if there's a difference?
Seriously though, I just swapped tranny oil and it's the second time using the pink stuff; It does make a difference. I think it's actually better now than the first quart through. Maybe it needs a couple changes to get the full effect?
