I sat on a classic and it was much easier to sit up than the standard. The standard felt much heavier even after sitting upright.
What are differences in the bikes?
Also what is difference in weight of a heritage vs. the roadking.
Off the top of my head, the only major difference in the Road King models is different size wheels/tires. Past that, all the specs including weights of all the bikes can be found on the HD website.
As far as I know the only difference between the two are the hard case and leather bags, wheels and tires, and the RKC comes standard with cruise control while it's an option for the RKS.
The weight should be within a couple pounds of each other. Did one possibly have a full tank of gas?
The Road King weighs a bit more than the Heritage. I was comparing the two bikes myself and was sold on the Heritage. That is until I took both for a spin. The RK had a superior ride over the heritage to me. Some will argue the opposite. Take both for a ride and make your own decision.
Any road king is cool.....cruise control is even cooler......so are the white walls.....and the spoke wheels......and the leather saddlebags......but I have no preference.......
