Pipes for an 06 Ultra
I'm new to the forum & new to the Bagger scene so cut me some slack if I bring up an old topic. I gotta change the pipes on my 06 Ultra & have no idea where to start. It currently has the stock head pipe with screamin Eagle mufflers. It doesnt sound bad, but I'm a loud pipe guy & the screamin eagles arent getting it for me. Plus I dont like the transition from the head pipe to the muffler body. As for sound, I'm lookin for more of a snarley growl instead of the bagger rubble. The motor is pretty much stock for now will prb add a stage 1 kit later. I heard some baggers with Thunderheaders 2-1 on them & they sounded pretty good. So I guess what I'm asking is, what do yinz prefer on your Baggers & what you think of Thunderheaders or other 2-1's. Thanx.
