Got the HID conversion done. One of the easiest installs I've done,
converted the H11 low beam in the Dual Bulb headlamp. Went with
the 6000K to get just a hint of blue, turned out a little bluer than
expected. Don't know what it looks like from a distance coming towards
it. It is bright, but don't know how it throws light yet. I'll post a review
when I get a chance to check it at night. $35 shipped. ddmtuning
I ordered 55w for my headlight and 35w for my spots at the beginning of the week, I am looking forward to the installation. I am just surprised at how long it takes them to get orders out the door. I read their disclaimer that orders ship in 7-10 days from the date of purchase, but I was amazed they did not offer some kind of expedite process, for a fee of course. I am sure with the price they start with everyone would pay the expedite fee too.
I went with the 5000K color so that the 55w and 35w could match-up as close as possible. Just one of the many things to do when I pull off the fairing. Along with the HID bulbs I ordered the E-code headlamp form Susquehanna. Trying to get the most light in the right place. Kind of a see and be seen thing.
I have a feeling that I will not have all my parts for removing the fairing this weekend, but next weekend should be busy.
I look forward to hearing about what you see at night with the new HID bulbs.
