6' and stock mirrors with stock bars. All work well. But as others said you can remove the faring mirrors and add new ones to the bars.

07 SG I'm 5'10" I adjusted my stock bars down just a little from what they were and stock mirrors work fine. I like tke the looks of fairing mirrors as well.

I would like to go with taller handlebars too, but then are you are looking under your arms at your mirrors and I don't think that's all that safe. Not to mention the cost of new bars, cables, lines, etc. to the point of costing $500 or more, not to mention the time and labor involved. So for the time being I'll just stick with my boring stockers for the 09 SG.

I also have no issues with the stock setup. I am only 5'9 though, plus or minus a 1/2 inch....
I guess if your having problems the only thing to do would be bar mirrors,, do what you gotta do to be safe!

I'm 6'2 and have no problem seeing out of my mirrors. I think, as was posted earlier, pulling the bars back a bit (mine are) could allieviate the problems you are experiencing. That would get your hands a little lower and out of the view of the mirrors.

Yea the problem with the pull back solution is it's a helluva lot more expensive than just slap'n a new set of mirrors on the bars.

If you're ONLY using your mirrors to see what's goin on around you, THAT isn't safe.

???
Just take off the lower cap, loosen the clamps on the bars, pull 'em back, tighten 'em up, re-install the lower cap. Done

Where did you read that I said that I "ONLY" use the mirrors? I always try to check my blind spots, by a head turn, but many times you don't have that luxury as it takes longer to do as opposed to a glance, but if you cannot see your mirrors perfectly due to your arm(s) being in the way, then there is a potential problem..
