Default Street Glide mirrors

I love the look and overall design of the SG.........well except one thing. The stock fairing mirrors on the SG are all but useless to me. I can't see around my arms.

What do you SG owners do to alleviate this problem? Does anybody put EG mirrors on the handlebars? Maybe I could use the stock SG mirrors for blind spot mirrors because right now the only thing I see is my elbows.

Right now I have the stock bars. I'd like to put on taller bars at some point. I'm not sure if taller bars would make it better or worse though.

Worse.
I put on Klock-Works Sweepers.
So I had to do something.
Even thinking of going higher

I have no problem with the mirrors. I think it depends on how tall you are. I'm 5'7".

No problem using my standard mirror set-up - Personally I think if new bars are fitted they shoud remain at the level of the standard units in order to maintain the correct 'hand-behind-the-batwing' look.

Swap your mirrors for the handle bar mounted piece and HD sells plugs for the hole that is left when you remove the fairing mirrors.
