The thing is, I rode a new RG with these and while I really liked the sound, the weren't loud enough for me. I wanted a bit more volume. But I'm not sure whether the bike had stock head pipes or not. So the thing I'm wondering about, is can you get these SuperTrapps louder while retaining the same sound?
I have the same pipes and have the same question as to whether or not you can get a little more rumble from the Nightstick version of this Supertrap design.
I like the sound of my Night stick, I am thinking of getting the open end for it. IIRC that equals 9 more discs.
I would see if that's more to my liking on the sound.
I ALSO am going to be gutting the cat in the very near future, I'll be sure to get before and after sound bytes of it.
I have met another guy at Whiteman that has a nice shop and great welding skillz! Since I don't trust mine on a wire welder that much. I will weld all day with my stick welder, need to get better at the wire I bought.
