Does anyone know where I should start looking for the problem? The sun is out & I cannot ride safe knowing I do not have brake lights. Cagers are crazy & blind. And I split lanes too much.

Where was any wiring disturbed? Where could it be pinched? What kind of bagger? I installed my Hog Tunes amp on my RG and there is a lot of wiring that can be pinched or unplugged behind the fairing - gotta be careful replacing the fairing. If you did find a blown fuse, a pinched and shorted wire sounds likely. Did the fuse that you replaced blow again? Did you do the install yourself or was it done by a shop? What was the extent of the install? Speakers and amp?

It could be two separate issues; a pinched wire, blowing the fuse and taking out the brake lights and a wire (or wires) disconnected intrrupting the signal light operation.

I know, a lot of questions, but...........................

Not worth the risk to me and I know that it just t's off the passenger vehicles. Of course, those that do it will always do it, until someone takes them down and you get a reminder just how long it takes to mend those broken bones and road rash. Doesn't do much for the chrome and paint on your bike either.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming...
Dude, u have no idea what you are talking about. Obviously u are not a LEO, nor a lawyer, or you would understand the basic premise is that it is not lane "splitting" as you refer to it. Rather it is lane "sharing" and both vehicles have possession of the lane. It is expected that all operators of motor vehicles do so safely or they risk being in violation.

So, please, enough of "The sky is falling!", unless u know what u are talking about.

and to the OP, good luck in fixing your lamps. Check connections along the circuit. Pretty straightforward, but the guys that put in your "music" should make it right.

Before there is more ranting about lanesharing read this
