Zip ties, Duct tape, small flashlight, basic tools (one set for the group), Tire plugs and a pocket sized pump. Something to clean your windshield, if you have one. Everything listed above. I'm leaving on a 2,500 mile trip soon and I'm packing all of the same things.

Always work out meeting places. With 10 guys there will always be that "one" that lags behind!

Exchange cell numbers!

I'd like to emphasize these two items. If you ride to the SW the air is very dry and your lips will likely chap and crack. When they do it can be painful, so as you approach the dry areas start using the Chapstik even if you think you don't need it. Sunscreen is a must regardless of where you're going.

Think in terms of riding in cold weather while it is raining. What will happen? Shoes and gloves--will they be protected? Wet shoes and gloves in cold weather are miserable. Buy some Gaiters or some other shoe protectors as well as something to protect your gloves when it rains. I use some waterproof mittens HD used to sell, but Ziplock bags might work too. Also, if you wear a helmet that accepts a face shield, carry one you can install quickly when it rains. Rain in the face is no fun either.

I carry an insulated drink jug that fits inside my saddlebag guard bags. I also carry dry Gatorade in a Ziplock bag, so when I stop for gas I put in a scoop of Gatorade and go into the station and fill the jug with ice from the ice dispenser. In 15 years of traveling I've never been charged once for this, and doing it this way will give you the hydration you'll need at a minimum of expense.

Oh, and I don't think anyone mentioned a flashlight yet.

10 guys for 3300 miles - good luck. I just did about 2500 miles solo - much easier to coordinate. SoCal-Laughlin-West Coast into BC, Canada.

Definately want chapstick in a pocket you can reach while riding. A small sunscreen so you can us it when you gas up. Duct tape for sure - had a tail light fall off; duct tape held till I got replacement bolts.

Call your credit card companies and tell them you are going travelling on a motorcycle. Mine usually turn off my cards because they see unusual activity (for a car maybe) such as frequent stops for small ammounts of fuel.
