installed v&h power duals and rush mufflers with v&h fuel pack on my bone stock 2010 ultra and i lost power. is this a tuning issue with the fuel pack?
I installed the power duels and monster ovals a while back and I picked up some power, but I am using sest tuner. Have you tried it without the tuner in place to see how it runs?
as far as I know you have to have a high flow filter set up with the fuelpak, you didn't mention that if you do have it and if you don't I bet you will need to get it to make the fuelpak work
Bought my 08 with stage 1 A/C and Rush from dealer installed. I don't think I made any power (probably had less then stock) until I added a PCV from Fuel Moto.
You don't say what size baffle. If 1.75" the Fuel Pack might be OK but 2.0" or bigger I think you need a better fuel management system. Just my $0.02
I would contact V&H's about the Fuel Pak map then. A lot of guys have had that set-up, seem to be happy with it. Might try search function in here on Touring and the appropriate Tech threads. Put in "Fuel Pak".... you should get lots of threads on the subject.
I hear lots of people complain that they loose "power" or more importantly low end torque when they switch over to true duals. It has to do with less back pressure. Further evidence that the factory pipes have it right most of the time with their tuning. The correct setup would be to get true duals that are "tuned" and fitted with the proper size of baffles that has some back pressure. Unfortunately most factory pipes are too hot and too quiet to suit many riders. Less back pressure does not necesarily equate to more horsepower or torque, just more noise. The right fuel management device, air cleaner setup and the correct baffle setup should help out. Any baffle size over 2" will probably be detrimental to making horsepower with a Harley. I have never seen 2 1/2" baffles on a normally aspirated Harley that actually made horsepower or torque but I am sure someone with a different view will say they have.
