Personally I would go OEM. Have seen some knocks offs, but they look a little funky. People spend 20k on a bike then put some $200 ugly a$$ box on it. I dont get, just my opinion though.

Just bought the RK Tour Pack from Zanotti's......could not pass up that discount. Might check their pricing on-line for an HD model you like.

I was like you thinking it would only be on a few times but with all the family and friends coming in to visit this summer, I'll bet it stays on until Fall! You do have to call them if to see if it is in stock however if you are looking for immediate ship.

Ebay is your friend. I just did this a few weeks back. I found a Ultra clasic pack on Ebay, bought the removable docking hardwear. I also got the factory Ultra harness. Do a search for a post from ultracla$$ic (I think thats how he spells it) de did a great write up on adding quick disconect plugs to the harness. He included part numbers for the plugs. And any auto body shop could do the paint work. My shops use Sherwin Williams and honestly they do not have a good color match,I bought PPG for my Black Pearl and It is dead nuts on.

I went to the harley dealer....to trade my 03' fatboy on a streetglide.......they had an Ultra Limited on the floor next to it........all the stuff I got for the price I did it....thinking I would regret it.....I looooooove the streetglide.......but I can't imagine NOT having a tour pack now after putting 1500 miles on the bike....and the radio w/80 watts is crazy good at 80 mph......get the Moco tour pack....also get the luggage rack on top...I love being able to strap stuff on top......and the 12v port in the box.....again....I cannot imagine not having it......I take it to the grocery store....:-)..

I would probably go OEM also. You will leave it on longer than you think. You get used to having a place to put stuff.
