Default A Great Motel

If you plan on going to Shenandoah National Park you have to check this place out: www.hillsidemotel-luray.com Me and the wife stayed there last week and you will not find a better place. Old fashioned. Not like the modern cookie cutter multi story chain motels. Affordable. Cost us $54 a night. Clean room with TV, micro wave, fridge, and a bathroom big enough to park a car in. As far as location, unbeatable. Right in the Shenandoah Valley only four miles from the Thornton Gap entrance to Skyline Drive. Sitting out on the front porch in the evening just enjoy the scenery. The peaceful Valley before you, the Blue Ridge towering over you. How about everybody else? Any places you can share with us?

We had breakfast there before heading down to the BRP. I agree. Great food. Great service. Friendly people. We'll be back.
