I am replacing a Harley Davidson Advanced sound system on my 02 FLHT EG with a Biketronics setup and a Sony HD receiver.
I ordered the Biketronics setup with a sony harness. They say you not have to cut or splice anything with the Sony.
Well the Sony harness Biketronics sent me has loose wires coming out of it for the speakers instead of a plug which would plug into the Harley speaker harness.
Their website says that if you feel the need to cut or splice to email them first. well I did but this thing is bothering me. I wanted to have the dang thing installed for a ride later today.
I sure don't want to cut into the Harley speaker harness.
Anybody here install the biketronics kit with a Sony stereo. How did you connect the speakers?
Well the speaker harness is sitting with nothing plugged into it right now. The Sony connect kit from Biketronics has loose wires coming out of it. I would have expected a plug that goes into the speaker harness.
i guess I will have to wait a couple of hours and call Biketronics, unless someone here knows the answer.
