Zanotti HD all the way! Great people to do business with! Thats for sure! Although maybe try Dr. V Twin, they might be able to help you out, and on top of it they are a sponsor!
I did more than 10K on this seat last year. Of that, two trips were more than 2K. Wife did one 2K trip and was able to ride up to 150 miles or so between fuel breaks. She was happy with the seat. The beauty of the seat for me is, I can pull that passenger pillion off in about 5 minutes. I ride around about 95% of the time on just the solo seat.
I've got the Sundowner on my Street Glide, and I'm not sold on it. Is it better than stock, yes. Is it great, no. I'm sure there are more comfortable options out there. It is much better for the passenger though.
#1- get a backrest for yourself, that's why your back hurts.
#2- mustang touring is really nice on the rear, but does sit you a bit more forward than the stock seat. I've gone 500 miles on that seat and my butt is ready for more (man that sounds bad.) I only have 1000 miles on it so break in wasn't bad at all.
I have tried the stock seat and StreetGlide seats on my 09 FLHT. I changed to the Sundowner about 4000 miles ago and so far I am pleased. The only drawback I do sit a little more forward than I would like to.
