Just finished installing the D&D Fat Cats 2 into 1 on my Ultra and all I can say is "WOW". I expected a difference but not like this. The bike screams. I love the sound. Low and mean but yet not obnoxious even when you crack the throttle. I just took off the V&H Big Shot Duals which were very nice pipes but the sound between these two is night and day. The V&H had a sort of crackle to them especially when the throttle was cracked but the D&D has a smooth low growl that is entirely absent of any crackle whatsoever. Very pleased with the change. Thanks PhilM for the recommendation and to M&M Cycle for the excellent price and service. I'll have pics tomorrow once I get a chance to clean up a bit.
Had a Fat Cat on my Fat Boy, best 2 into 1 you can buy, loved it. I'd buy one for my Street Glide, but I love the way duals look on a bagger. Good choice
They did come with the o2 bungs and caps. Absolutely love the sound. Beautiful finish on them. The directions sucked but pretty easy to install. I had to remove the original exhaust bracket from under the the clutch release cover so now I need to adjust the clutch as one of the screws was right behind where the clutch cable enters the case. Should be pretty straight forward. Here's a slide show I put together of a few pics of the pipe. The Kury extended brake pedal comes today so that goes on this evening. More bling. I really like the way the Fat Cats dress up that whole area around the motor on the right side. http://img109.imageshack.us/slidesho...8278764b1.smil
Vanila....D&D makes a Ghost pipe set up for the Fat Cat so you have the dual look on the bagger.......$200.....For some reason Mark at M&M cannot get the Black finish.......Phil how is your black finish holding up?
