I've had my '06 with 8* injectors fie about a year now. The only time I had a problem was when I had the local Harley dealer Dyno it after I added PC III, Slipons, and K&N air cleaner; it popped, backfired, and stalled. Sooooo, I tried a few downloaded maps on my own until I found one that worked for me and my riding style. No more problems.
Now I let HDWRENCH work his magic on my bike and do not worry about the dealer or second rate mechanics.
Oh, by the way I still have the 8* injectors with no problem

After reading this thread, I printed a copy of the above pdf file, then head down to the local dealership, I explained to them that Iwas having occ backfires/ sneeze, and cold start probs, then I showed them the Harley bullettin about the injectors, and they took care of it and I was out the door in less than 2 hours. The guys at Nassau HD are great! Thanks guys for all the good info.
