Anybody going to Red River this weekend. Is it a good Rally?

 

It's pretty country down there. We call it "Wet River" here in Colordo because you always catch a lot of rain on the trip.

 

Heading up from Albuquerque this Saturday. First time to the rally but I hear its a pretty good rally. Beautiful country, mountains, ski country. Taos is nearby.

I went in 04 and 06, no rain either year, but it was cold as Hell in 04. Great riding around the area, great food in Taos.

Its a good one. Check out their site. Ill be riding up Friday night and spending the night in Taos. Spending only half a day at the rally Saturday then thundering on to Vegas (stopping in Flagstaff to meet up with others)for two nights.

 

absolutely beautiful in late summer when it's hot as heck everywhere else, can always ride up to Red River and the Enchanted Loop for some cool temps
