I looked around for a different windshield as soon as I got my 2010 SG. I really liked the look of the 4" stock, but since most of my ridding will be long trips needed the wind and sound cut back a little.
Stock windshield created noise, put the wind in my face, short rides it's great.....but on cruises couldn't hear the radio, wind was bad.
I read and read, watched UTubes, read all the posts on this Forum and decided to spend the bucks on the KW.
It is definately a much better windshield as far as open road ridding. The radio sound is much better, I can hear the exhaust better, and not sure what 'clean air' means but the wind in my face has been cut in half.
I'm 6' and I got the 8 1/2" light tint and works perfect for me.

2008 Ultra
Stock seat / suspension
5'9" tall
Klock short smoke windshield

I love this thing. I can easily see over it and the wind is not at all bad. Not as good as a full shield in front of you but still very comfortable riding.

Only drawback I can tell is the bigger bugs DO get through and will smack you in the head.

I wouldn't trade it for the world.

2001 Ultra, tall rider seat, 6'3"

I just installed the 10.5" light smoke. It is about 1/2" shorter than stock & pushes the air up just over the top of my helmet. At speed I notice the front end in the road a lot more(80mph). They are designed to give you more downforce on the front. Like it.
