Started about 6-8 weeks ago. I'd go to get off the bike and the security system would give 1 warning blare of the siren. The "don't mess with me" waring.
Not every time but often enough to notice.
5/20/10 about 5:30 PM it started giving the 3 warning blares, then the siren would go off for a minute. Then it's cycle the process over and cover. Then was while it was just barked in the garage. Stopped it by putting FOB on the seat.
Took it to the dealer and it did it once when I straightened it up to pull into the service bay.
Got a call from them yesterday saying they can't duplicate the problem nor is there any bulletin on it. Their efforts duplicating it was to park it 30 feet from the FOB and wait for the alarm to go off.
I told the service guy to put the FOB in his pocket and go stand the bike up and back down occasionally during the day.
Then they are telling me HD says not to have the FOB within 4" of a cell phone. I carry the FOB in my left pocket and cell phone in the right. Got my body between them and I'm more than 4" thick. A lot of times I throw my cell phone in the tour pack and plug it to charge.
So, they can't find the problem. Only thing I can thing of is replace the security system.
Try a second FOB. Sound like there's some other interference may be causing it. Did it only happen in the garage or anywhere you went? Do you have an automatic garage door opener? It is possible the battery in the FOB is weak or about to stop working all together.

Tried it with both FOBs. Same result.
No garage opener other than me.
When it went off last week there was nothing around it. No FOB, nothing. I road home from work and parked it. No issues.
My wife comes home an hour later and the alarm is cycling on and off. Putting a FOB on the seat killed the alarm response.
