Default Need SERT help

I need advice from some of you knowable tuners our there. 09 Street Glide with SE stage one air cleaner, Jack Pot dyno tuned mufflers. At time of delivery had SERT installed with rich tune to eliminate lean conditon. Dynoed at 1000 miles to complete tune. Made 70 HP, 80 TQ. Bike is running hot, up to 250 degrees running easy back roads. Sounds like a lean condition to me. Dealer says they can fix the lean conditon. What I need to know: can this lean problem be suitable fixed with the SERT? I considered installing a PC V but Jamie's crew says the SERT will have to be returned to stock. Does anyone know if it can in fact be returned to stock? Kinda seems like over the long haul one would be better off with a PC V with the option of returning to stock if ever needed. I don't plan any big engine builds, etc. Really appreciate the help. I am continually surprised and pleased with the accumulated knowledge on this forum. Best regards to all.
Hugh

Cool

The SERT can be returned to stock, and it sounds like you are still rich, if the dealer is doing the dyno they should be able to get ride of the richness and tune it better, also you should get more HP and tq than what you are saying you have.

Do you have a catalytic converter on your bike?

No catalytic exhaust. Do you think running rich would make it run hot? I thought only lean would make the heat.

Running rich keeps it cooler. What kind of mileage do you get?

Mileage usually 45 to 46 mpg. I think this indicates lean rather than rich. Do you know if the SERT can change the closed loop cycle from the 14.7 AFR that epa regs call for? And thanks for the help.
