Default 2008 CB Mic.

can anyone tell me why a headset from a 2006 ultra can't be wired for a 2008 ultra?

I believe they are different head units. It probably CAN be wired to work, but would cost about the same unless you do it yourself?

According to HD's P&A catalog, there is no difference electrically between the '06 and '08 models, or for that matter, from '97 models to the '10 models. Check the headsets at page 624.
