Default New Highway Signs Near Minneapolis
Been out of state touring the last ten days and on the way home saw some new electronic highway sign messages that said "Look twice for motorcycles". Nice to see that the MNDOT finally recognizes the need to bring motorcycling to cagers' attention.

Same signs they recently started showing around Southern California.... I like it!

There was a 'Look twice for bikes' radio advertisement in the metro area (DC/VA/MD) every summer for many years...don't know if they still do it

California just had a motorcycle awareness month and had the signs posted all over the state. Now if it would only sink into peoples thick heads!

Same electronic signs, usually blank, sported MC awareness messages along I-44 in Missouri, all the way to Oklahoma mid May. I must say I was impressed and grateful.

A sheriff in Milwaukee does radio and TV info bits for motorcycle awareness. I emailed his office to thank him. There was a TV bit here also showing a car at a stop sign and then pulling out and getting T boned by a motorcycle. It really was a shocking message that probably did a lot of good.
