I want to ditch the stock clear plastic cover on my 08 roadglide and install the new trim that comes on the 2010 but it doesnt seem to fit right.
Anyone done this? What parts do I need? Thanks
you guys dont like the covers keeping all the bugs and junk off the lights?
does it add to the looks? does it allow the lights to be a bit brighter?
Anybody got pics?
The gloss black one from the 08 CVO runs about $40 while the flat black from the 010's is $8.40. I bought the gloss before I knew the difference. Picked up the flat black when I was sending my fender facia for paint and am having it painted same color as bike. Don't know how it will look, we shall see...
I had an FLT and remember the pain it was keeping the headlights clean. The bubble works for me. Would think anybody who rides much would be in favor of the bubble.

I installed the bezel on my 08 Roadie, I had no issues with cleaning the bugs, I actually thought the plastic bubble was a bigger pain in the a$$ to keep clean. As far as lighting, in my opinion it was as bright but the light did seem to go off to the side of the road a little more.
