Default 99 RK classic
hey all. i just got my first RK. 99 classic. is there anything to know about it mechanicly that i need to be aware of? itsa 95" BB with SE heads and a baker 6 speed. im guessing that the cam bearing has been done. i submitted the vin to a link i found here and nothing came up. also has Reinhart true duals. has 88000 kms on it but looked in real good shape and well taken care of. everything on it was highend parts that i can see. im a wrencher as ive been riding shovels. i had an 04 TC heritage. just new to the RK. any advice or comments appreciated. here is some pics

If the cams are still running chains, have you checked the cam tensioner shoes?

I have a '99 RK also, and outside the cam bearings and a starter, it has been a great runner for almost 50,000 miles now. Enjoy.
