Crack in Chrome, this a problem?

I was drooling over my new Ultra yesterday and noticed a crack in the chrome of the tour pack rack I had installed. The crack is very small and looks kinda like a horse shoe. It looks like a chroming flaw. It's not really noticeable but I'm wondering if it would give me problems down the road?

Thought I would come to you before going to the dealership.

Bought new? Dealer installed? I'd be bringing it back. They'll blame it on you for overloading down the road.

Yeah, I agree I'd bring it back so that it doesn't become a problem for you down the road.

It's common with the TP racks. I always see at least 1 in the 'drastically reduced' bin/table. Look around the welds on the racks that are on some of the bikes, if they're discoloring, then rust is imminent.
