Chief, I ask because I am 5'10" and the 10" apes are perfect for me. You being 6", I think their 12.5" apes may be a better fit for you. Of course that's just my opinion.
well right now I'm going to run with the 515's......I like the Heritage bars I have now, no probs at all,,just want to try out higher bars. Should I get cables that are long enuff for the 12.5" just in case?
Chief, I would ask Chubby's about the cables. I went from 508's to the 515's and my cables were perfect. The problem is I don't remember what length I used.
I'm sure he's asking to see if the bars are going to be too short for you. If you're 6 foot I would definitely recommend the 502s...
I'm 5'9" and the 515's are lower than I would like.
I'll get you some here in a bit...no problem.
lp
did you have to get longer cables, since I have the hydraulic clutch I am wondering. thanks alot lp....nice ride, is that a WinDvest windshield? 12 or 14" and how tall are you BTW.

On a road glide you can just reroute the clutch cable from it's forward mounting point coming through the middle console thing to just in front of the bar.
I will one day switch this out to a +2 or +4 Cable.
The Brake was long enough but I don't like the curve to it and since I have ABS it's going to be expensive changing it... One day...
Here is a pic of where I relocated the clutch cable. Works fine this way. Just doesn't look all that great.
I spoke with Wild 1 today and my staock cables will work,,,will have to run the clutch cable like on a Dyna or Soft Tail,,,,,,,,guess I'll have to go the dealer and check them out, will also have to get 8" wire extenders
I just put the 10" wildones on my 2009 Road King classic. Did not need to change cables but did need to extend the wiring. I purchased the wire extension kit from drag specialties and it was nice because all the wires have the connectors on each end, wires are color coded and comes with the shrink tubing. I'll have to admit I thought the 10" were going to be a bit bigger than what they were I'm 5'10". I still love the bars though great improvement over the stock bars. If you had the heritage bars on yours already I would go with the 12.5". Tot me the 10" are no different than the heritage bars I see on a stock bike at the Harley Dealer. Hope this helps.

Yea I thought about them not being much different than the Heritage Bars, guess won't know til I get them on. And if what you say is true,,,,,guess I'll be shopping for the 502's. Also someone PM'd me saying I need to put on poly bushings and a handle bar clamp......I have no idea what these are as I never did a thing when I put on my Heritage bars
