How do you go about compairing two different maps in PCV.

I have to different maps for my set up from Fuel Moto one for power and the other for fuel milage and was just woundering how you can compaire the two and get some feeling on what the changes do.

Thanks

One way is to open the map files and send them to My Documents. From there you could open them separately or print them out.

You can add a single pole off/on slide switch to the PC-V and you will be able to change between the 2 maps on the fly. Look in your directions of the PC-V it explains how to do so or call FuelMoto they can walk you through it.

This is how I have it set up now.

My question is, is there a way to compare to two maps.
I know that in PCIII there was a compare feature built into the computer program but seems to be missing in the PC-V program. I was just wondering if there was another way to compare them

I created a spread sheet for compairing the maps. http://www.box.net/shared/it23fgcv8f

1. Copy the tables from the PCV software and paste them into the first map in the top two fields in cyl 1 and cyl 2 respectively.
2. Copy the tables from the PCV software and paste them into the second map in the second lower fields in cyl 1 and cyl 2 respectively.
(you just have to click on the first cell in the tables to paste them as the colum and rows are not locked)

Then in the 3rd or bottom fields will show the difference of change no input is needed in these fields.

Also the top two fields the cells that are the same will be green in color. The fields that have changed will remain white.

The bottom field that shows the change in numbers the green fields are the change wich directly reflects a cut out of the fields above them.

You can use the tool to compare any of the tables Target AFR, Trim, Fuel Table and ignition.

I need your email address to send it as it can not be sent via this email service on the site either. I can not figure out how to attach or email this file at all on here!
Don got your spread sheet looks nice, really like the conditional formatting. Makes it easy to see the differences between the two maps.

Thanks for sending it to me.
