If you want a solution to the glue on the velcro letting go, I can let ya in on something. Get some new velcro or clean all the glue off the velcro you have. Clean where you want the velcro to stick at on the lid. Now purchase yourself a small bottle of Locktite 495. Put a little dab on the lid and stick the velcro on there. Let it dry.

Properly bonded the lid will come apart or the velcro will rot off before the glue lets go.

sifularson: How do the Mustang lid covers attach?

Cannon
The mustang covers have pockets on each end and you simply stretch them over the lid. They are a tight fit so there are no wrinkles like the HD covers.

I bought mine from an Ebay store for around $110.

I buy most everything for my bike either from an Ebay store or from Chicago or Lakeside at 20% off. Shop around but always look at Ebay first, get a part # and do a Google search. There are some good deals out there. For instance, Lakeside does free shipping quite often. Get on their mailing list and they'll let you know. I've had good luck also with Eastern Performance on Ebay.

Agree with most on here, the Mustang covers are very good. Nice look and the stretch to fit makes for a clean install.

I have and like the Mustang covers. Have not had any others so there may be better out there. Mustang fit very good and seem to be well made.

I like the Mustangs, just slip them over the lids. No velcro, no glue.

You mean "lakeshore" don't you???

I don't see the point in bag bra's or fairing bra's unless you are wanting to cover something ugly up. I may use them one day to cover up a scratched or worn out paint job, but until then I like to enjoy my nice shiney paint. JMHO.....
