As some may have read, I had my bike on a dyno yesterday and with the mods listed in my signature, it made 81.03 HP/87.73 TQ. Well this was only a dyno run and not a tune. The tech told me I was way rich and probably left 5HP and TQ on the table because of that. Well that just got my gears rolling and now I'm looking for some suggestions for cams. I don't want to change anything I currently have just add the cams and a new map. I'd also like to know about any "must do" upgrades while doing the cam swap. Thanks for your input.
HQ-0034 cams, go with gear drive if you want to get rid of the chain drive, and if your runout is within specs. change cam bearings and lifters, then get it tuned.

81 hp and 87 tq from a stock 88 (regardless of pipes, a/c) means you are using a very happy dyno. A typical pipes and a/c stock 88 will make about 74 hp and 78 tq.
I had it done at the Ky state HOG rally in Bowling Green. It was a dynojet dyno and it looked like a legit setup as it was in the shop and not a mobile unit. I too thought that seemed pretty steep numbers but I have noticed that at full throttle run outs, none of my buddies can keep up with me. Maybe I got a hot one from the factory! Thanks for your recommendations. I'll look into that cam.

I have everything you mentioned above and more on my 2004 Ultra Classic.
I also have Rinehart true duals, Screaming Eagle air cleaner and a Power Commander III.
And I'm glad I did ... Runs GREAT !!!

I an '03 King with SE203 cams, PCIII, Road Rage 2-1, Heavy Breather and am planning on getting it dynoed with a tune and report. I have some parts for sale in the classifieds for a direct bolt in for cams, they are SE203s as well with tensioners, o-rings, etc. Have all parts you need except for pushrods if you cut them. I can tell a great difference with the cams. CAnt wait to schedule the appointment!
If you're in KY, I'd give John a call at Flying W performance. He can recommend a cam and he can also do the tune. He's a great guy that's very easy to talk with. He can steer you in the right direction.
